Collective Economics Innovation Hub

Invest in a bold vision for economic justice.

The Center for Community Wealth is launching a $2.6 million capital campaign to build a new home in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood, a first-of-its-kind hub for entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and community-owned businesses.

Hear directly from the community about why this space matters.

A New Home for Collective Prosperity

Rising in the heart of Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood, the Collective Economics Innovation Hub (CEIH) will be a bold new center for building community wealth, located on the ground floor of an affordable housing condominium honoring a true Denver trailblazer.

The Opportunity

The CEIH will be a first-of-its-kind space in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood dedicated to building community wealth. The CEIH will:

Serve as a hub for entrepreneurs and community to gather, connect, learn, and grow

Provide business incubation and technical assistance to local small businesses

Model collective economics in action

Be a space that is co-created with the entrepreneurs and community leaders it exists to serve

The Challenge

The Hattie McDaniel Residences are named after a Denver-raised icon.
Ms. McDaniel is the first Black person to win an Academy Award.

While much has changed in the 86 years since her groundbreaking achievement, deep gaps in access to economic opportunity remain. Too many individuals and communities still face systemic barriers to business ownership, stability, and prosperity. That's why the CEIH is so needed. The Hub will be a place to carry Hattie McDaniel's legacy forward by expanding access to opportunity, and ensuring everyone has the chance to thrive.

Your bold investment will help create a place where innovators can turn their ideas into lasting economic power. Thank you for joining us.

The Campaign

Design and furnish collaborative workspaces, training rooms, and a community gathering space with state-of-the-art technology, shared business services, and a sales corner for entrepreneurs' products

Create a warm, safe, and welcoming space deeply rooted in the culture of Five Points

Thanks to the very generous support of The Colorado Health Foundation, all donations to support the acquisition and build out of CEIH will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1 million!
