The Drivers Cooperative – Colorado (DCC) is a worker-owned rideshare cooperative created by drivers to build a fairer ridesharing alternative. Our model puts drivers first: members keep more of every fare, have a democratic voice in decision-making, and are owners of the company.

In partnership with TADA, a socially responsible tech company based in Singapore, we launched our ridesharing app on July 16, 2025. Today, close to 1,000 drivers are approved members of our cooperative, and we expect membership to grow to 2,500 in the coming year. Nearly 70% of our drivers come from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Our driver-owners have often been hit the hardest by the exploitation, unjust deactivations, and lack of transparency common in the gig economy. At the Drivers Cooperative-CO, we flip the script by putting drivers at the center, ensuring fair pay, transparency, and ownership. Out drivers keep 80% of the trip fare. We are deeply committed to serving Colorado’s underserved communities. Refugees, seniors, veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, and people with disabilities often face major barriers to mobility due to limited transportation options and the high costs of corporate ridesharing. Guided by the seventh cooperative principle—concern for community—we are building a system that delivers safe, reliable, and affordable rides by partnering with value-aligned organizations, ensuring that both drivers and riders are supported and satisfied.
